There’s something truly special about being part of the Charterhouse family – a community that continues to thrive long after school days are over. Whether you’re an Old Carthusian, a current or former parent, or a member of staff past or present, our expanded social programme offers an engaging way to stay connected, make new friends, and enjoy enriching experiences together.
You will always belong to the Charterhouse family, and our new events series is designed to celebrate just that – from relaxed cultural evenings to friendly sporting challenges. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to network across generations and professions, all within the welcoming Charterhouse community spirit.
Wine & Cheese Pairing – Wednesday 18 March
Join us for an indulgent evening of flavour and discovery hosted in partnership with two exceptional local vendors – Taurus Wines, renowned for their expertly curated selections, and Cheesegeek, specialists in artisan British cheeses. Together, they will guide us through a series of perfectly matched wines and cheeses, sharing insights into what makes each pairing shine.
With just four tickets remaining, booking is required by 6pm on Friday for this deliciously social event.

Charterhouse Book Club – Thursday 19 March
Our next gathering features two powerful reads: One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn and Raising Hare by Clare Pollard.
Come and share your thoughts in good company and lively discussion. Light snacks and drinks.

Charterhouse Community Golf Tournament – Friday 17 April
Tee off for a superb day of golf and camaraderie at the beautiful Cowdray Golf Club. The tournament will follow a shotgun start format and includes a delicious two-course lunch. Whether you’re an experienced player or just enjoy a friendly round, it promises to be a memorable event. Book as an individual, pair, or four-ball.
