Welcome to Charterhouse Online

Welcome to Charterhouse Online: Education for your future

The Admissions Team is the first point of contact for all prospective students and their families and we look forward to guiding you through the admissions process and supporting you along your journey.

Although the process outlined below will be typical of a student new to A Level study and applying early each year, there is considerable flexibility for those applying for late entry.

For A Level retakes, you should contact Admissions directly on:

 admissions@charterhouseonline.co.uk.

Academic Requirements

All potential students will be required to take a subject specific assessment in each of the subjects they wish to study at A level – Biology, Chemistry, Further Maths, Maths and Physics.

For Economics, this assessment will look at a student’s aptitude for the subject at A Level as it is less likely that they will have already studied the subject.

If a student is, or has been, following the GCSE or IGCSE curriculum prior to applying to Charterhouse Online then we would expect a student who will thrive on this accelerated programme to have, or be predicted to achieve, grades 7 to 9 or A to A* in at least seven subjects at GCSE. Students should have at least a I/GCSE Grade 8 or above in order to study a subject at A Level.

If you have not followed an I/GCSE programme of study then students should be able to provide evidence of an equivalent level of academic achievement in the qualifications of your home country.
