Founded in 1611, Charterhouse is one of the UK’s leading independent boarding and day schools, providing an outstanding education for boys and girls aged 13 to 18.

Set in a campus of nearly 250 acres of architecturally significant buildings and stunning grounds, Charterhouse is one of the great British boarding schools. Established in London in 1611, the School has been on its current beautiful site for 150 years, offering an academically - focussed yet all round education, with a focus on the values and skills that lead to academic success as well as success in the world beyond school; in short, a successful education is also an education for life.

With more than 400 students in the Sixth Form studying for A Levels, Charterhouse has a wealth of experience supporting young adults to reach their full academic potential and to achieve places at many of the top universities in the UK, Europe and the United States.
